Not sure how many people this will apply to but...
Cinema 4d has a 42 day trial demo going on with save functions intact. http://www.maxon.net/pages/download/downloads_e.html Looks like it has lots of cools stuff in it. at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

thanks, infini
![]() just as a general comment about web sites like this. i went to that link the first thing i see is an image. ok, that's cool. but then i'm thinking, ok, what is this program about? and oddly, there was no description whatsoever of what the program does or is. i've seen this many times in product web sites and it always strikes me odd that the first thing isnt a product description. introduce me, tell me who you are and what you do and moreover, what you can do for me. that's almost the first rule of business, introduce yourself and your product(s) or service(s). and i see folks fail on this point way too often. ok, sorry for the rant, infini ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hi
Well, unless your into 3D/CGI stuff - the name wouldn't mean anything to you. Your right about Maxon not taking time to tell people what their product is and does to people outside of the 3D Visualisation industry - perhaps they should do that, might increase sales by a fraction J |

The program is pretty pricy. I wont be able to afford it right away. Just taking the option
to play with it a bit and see what if anything I am missing. It is another full 3d authoring system with emphasis on animation. It has been my opinion that most things you can see that are done by very expensive packages can also be done with inexpensive or open source alternatives. It can just take quite a bit more work. Whereas the high end packages have everything laid out for you at your fingertips. I saw some amazing renders that people had done with so it caught my interest. at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

Thanks for the info, i just wish that all the 3d apps didn't cost so much, it's like they think everyone interested in 3d works in some high end studio and can afford paying as much as a new TV or something for a program.
