Hmmm, heres one for the FF customer service dept-It seems the paypal method is broken?I've ordered twice now once 12 hours ago and the payment doesnt work. Ive got the cash in my acc, but it seems the digital river part is broken. See these screengrabs attatched. The money wont leave my account.
Also when you pay instead of paying for "FilterForge" it has some weird serial number and name that sounds quite irrelevant, and considering thats the moment people are parting with their cash, I would recommend that DigiR make it more apparrent that customers are actually buying the right thing. /2c Cheers AaronC PS oh great another time waster, this forum wont let me attatch the files in a zip. Now Im getting annoyed. ![]() |

We'll contact Digital River / ShareIt regarding this.
BTW, you're using Firefox. I use Firefox myself, and I had problems with several well-known sites that simply did't work correctly under Firefox. You can try to switch to IE temporarily for this transaction. |

Also, we've checked our order database and found that we had a PayPal order yesterday -- so, it seems to work, at least for some customers.

Nasty, that must be it. Im looking at 5 tries and five faliures now. Two with IE, 3 with Firefox.
I often get this impulse to empty my paypal account, It just feels like quite a risky method of currency storage...Stuff it under the mattress I say. Oh well I give up for now. Thanks Vlad for the emails AaronC |

I have a question: I see no paypal-button. Is the email-cash payment paypal?

The first four times I visited, there was no paypal button. After being sent back there by these guys it was there. Its one of five(?) payment options in a popup window, if you only see four(?), you have the same issue I initially had.
Hang in there, And contact the devs if neccess. AaronC |

Hey Filter forge developers, I just thought you should know about something I observed with this element5 company you are using for managing paypal type payments.
For FF It took me 6 attempts before a payment actually went through, over 2 or three days. Ive just (tried) to buy particle illusion and they too use element5.The payment again failed to be processed. So the issue is somewhere between element5 and paypal. I just thought you should know because I bet they are charging like a wounded bull, and the service recieved is pretty budget. HTH AC |

Heya Targos, I paid for FF via the paypal option with no issues. I use Mozilla Firefox and the payment method was in a pull down menu with paypal part way down.
Went through in the first go. Mind I did think who's Element5.. ![]() Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

This is probably because you are using Firefox as your browser. The order form might not work correctly under Firefox. Try to switch to IE temporarily for this transaction. The Paypal option is in the pull down menu in the "Payment option" box.
Thanks for the info, Targos. |

Works fine with the firefox I use. Payment method -> payment options -> paypal (4th in the drop down list(5th if your counting the select text as well)). Although I know I did try and buy something via another website in America with paypal. Turned out they was having issues with paypal depending where you lived in the world. Come to thinking of it.. that's happened a few times of late, tried to buy Mcafee using paypal and was told I lived in an embargoed country.. ![]() ![]() Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Everything fine here too. Although Vlad above says he's had similar problems with other websites. Most probably, apart from the browser, this does depend on where in the world you are located. |
