I tried to import a HDRI file but about 30 minutes later it is still importing? Is that normal? Never mind, read the HDRI import help and it says it takes a while. So lets see how long smile:)

----I did a couple at 800 X 400, and they took about an hour and a half (on a singlecore 2.4 P4), so above that, whew, could be a while eh. smile:D

having imported several of these in the past, i can tell you that size is everything here! i believe it was onyxmaster who recommended nothing larger than about 400 x 200 pixels and even that's going to take a while. so, yes, expect at least a half hour on a 400 x 200 and much longer for larger than that.

When I was doing them I would set it to import before I went to bed. smile:)
at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.
