A Question About Discounts

I happened to pick up FF during the holiday discount, but a friend of mine dithered and missed out on it. Are discounts offered on a regular (or semi-regular) basis, or are they very infrequent things? Also, are discounts ever offered on upgrades? I bought the program two or three days after trying it out (because it was discounted and I didn't want to miss it) so I don't even know if the filter creation tool was offered during the trial version. My bad. But I'm finding that I'm becoming more and more intrigued about the idea of creating a filter myself and probably will want to upgrade my version sometime in the future as I become more proficient in using the filters themselves to achieve the effects I want.

We do offer discounts rather regularly. It's not that they are held, say, monthly or quarterly, though. They are usually timed for events like a holiday or release of an update.

One permanent discount is the early buyer discount, available from the trial version of Filter Forge. It's 10 per cent, and this offer is valid for 7 days starting from your first launch of Filter Forge.

As for a discount on upgrades, we did offer it once. Will it ever be offered again... well... I really don't know
