Hi Guys
I have been using filter forge for a couple of weeks mainly playing around with the filter library. I made my first filter tonight but was a bit of guess work and luck more than anything. What's the best way to get started, I am quite new to graphics so still learning the technical stuff as well. By the way the filters people do on here are brilliant. Thanks All Jay Help probably needed |

----It depends on what you want to do really. I'd suggest 1) read the wiki/info pages, lots of great info, some/most of which won't make sense at first, but it's still a good starting point. And secondly, find some filters you like (ie = that you wish you had made etc.) and open them up and study them, make variations, take parts out/add parts. It sounds like you already get the idea, guess work and luck will go pretty far in FF, after that, ya kind of have to buckle down to get much further, but that's up to you, and you'll know more of what you're trying to do by then anyways. ![]() jffe Filter Forger |
