Photography as possible new category?

Hi all, I would like to suggest photography as a category for image based filters.

I'm currently working on a color remapper filter and realized that most of the time I want only subtle effects that don't destroy the original image when I edit photos and most of the filters in the Creative category are more illustrative.

It also might make sense to create this category because I suspect that most of the filters that would go in this category will be relatively simple.

Here are some examples of a possible filter. The first image is the original.

Yes, I've been thinking about this as well. I'll add the category and look what filters can be moved there from other categories.

Generally good idea, but to be honest, I would prefer to do most of these steps in an image processing tool like photoshop, psp a.s.o.

Some special effects could be nice tough.

Definately and a lot of times this will be the case, still I love the idea that I can use the node based editor to create all sorts of operations and rig them to the specific controls that I want, instead of recording a bunch of photoshop actions.

Another use could be 3d rendering post effects, where you need to do the same kind of stuff to all your images. It's nice to have sliders for all your steps at once.
