Some are not going to like me saying this.....but in my opinion, the obvious "gaming" is eating away at the integrity here.....such as sock-puppet accounts for building up downloads, usage, and keeping filters on top in the forum. I could do the same thing and put "High Usage" on every one of my filters....but it would defeat the purpose of finding out how useful my filters really are.....

I guess it should be expected that there will always be people trying to "beat" the system.....but I don't have to like it.....

Sorry for the negetivity.....but I think this needed to be said....

Usage? I don't understand how you are saying they can cheat on usage?

I know I worked very hard making filters to get my HU's. And I have a decade of filter use under my belt...

I'm not sure how you are implying the system can be beat... but I dont' think it's fair to those who have our HU's to say out of jealousy that they didn't have to work for it. Most threads I have been talking in are other peoples threads,,, but I guess I can stop talking in those threads.

I just think it's kind of strange that you put this post up the day I get my HU... I don't think it's very nice... just being honest. This is the first and last post I'll make in this thread because I have filters to make. (((Not sure who you were referring to,,, but I do post alot of previews and do my part to comment in the User Gallery... whoever you meant... wasn't a nice thing to imply... or fair, or honest))). (((But I luvs ya anyway Steve))). Maybe you are just having a bad day?

Well I have filters to make... no time for this kind of negativity.

Yeah, I'm only gonna post once in this one. You've brought this kind of thing up before Stevie, and while I'm not taking sides, and do not know if it's true or not, nor do I know whatever it is you may know or think you know about it (was that all disclaimer-ish enough ha-ha), but regardless, you're probably better off to just message FF, and/or the person or people involved. Personally, I can't believe some of the crappy/mediocre/weak filters (mine not excluded from that) that have gotten HU rankings. So as far as I'm concerned, as long as no one is getting all their filters ranked HU, (which would of course be entirely unrealistic, and indicate some kind of "cheating" in 98% of any cases like that, angelboi & Vlad being perhaps the only exceptions I'm aware of ha-ha), then who cares, and people just like some weird filters and it's none our biz, let FF worry about it, it's their $299 program after all. smile:)

Jean, no need to get nasty.....it wasn't a personal attack on you because you got "HU" (which I congradulated you on).....nor am I jealous of you in any way (from what you wrote before editting it).....in fact, I offered you my own HUs so you could get the free copy.....remember??? Obviously, you think this is all about you.....and I guess you haven't been noticing the same things that I have been noticing with other authors.....

I've said what I wanted to say and I'm done......

I'm sorry Steve... please forgive...

I've been under pressure making filters... and today that pressure was taken off but I'm reeling a bit from the after shock. ((Lots of hard work goes into the filters... I'm sure everyone can understand that)).

To your quote your statement above I guess I am clueless because I don't know what you're talking about... honestly... but you can email me and let me in on what's going on if you want...

Like Foxxe said "Long and exhausting weekend". I made 7 filters and 2 upgrades this weekend. And one filter and one upgrade today.

Well, obviously, this cannot be in reference to Persidio. Hell, I am her husband, a FF user ("user of the filter")...and I hate to admit it...even I haven't used any of her filters yet! I've downloaded some, yes, 14 I believe, but I haven't used any yet. I intend to of course, once things get caught up here at home and at work!
