Hi guys,

I would really like to be able to import a filter into another one to reuse it as part as the current filter :
Is it possible ?
if not that would be cool to implement it in a future version like this :
add the option into the mouse right click contextual menu in the editor :
Import filter tree
browse
select filter

Here's a way to copy and paste components from one filter to another:
1. Left-click and drag (the rectangle) around the components you want.
2. Right-click, then click on Copy.
3. Exit that filter, open the new filter.
4. Then right-click and click on paste.
It's pretty basic, but it took me a while before I figured out that FF let you do this.

if you drag a box or just highlight a bunch of them with control-leftclick, you can then rightclick and copy all of them at once. this puts them in the clipboard. close out your filter and open or start another and rightclick and hit paste. it will drop all those you copied into the present one, AND if any were connected with lines, those lines will still be attached. the only one you cant copy is the 'result' component.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

If the pixel size is different from one to another this can through out some of the fine tuning - hence if you've lost the look say of the perlin when you've copied from one filter to another check the pixel size smile;)

Just copying one filter into another isn't necessarily gonna do squat for ya. The way stuff interacts when wired in specific ways is a lot of what produces a good end result. The idea of *combining* filters is more or less a pipe dream in any automatic/simple way for the most part, from what I can tell.
