My trial version is almost up, and no High ranks yet (Boo Hoo)... ohh well. I will subscribe for the extension, but I do not know if that will be enough. Any suggestions on filters that you would like?

You seem to do a lot of different stuff, I would recommend 1) that you go back and update some early filters, make them better now that you have more experience etc., and 2) that FF extend your trial another 30 days or whatever the standard is, since you are actively making filters and posting on the forums. smile:)

All right your feet are wet now Dont know if this will earn you a reward or not but I issued a challenge a while back the infinite mirror, swirl or tunnel I figured out preaty well but the matrix
That one still is way to crude and slow to render

can you make a filter that recreates the effect of code from the movie matrix

not just as a stand alone background but also blended into a source photo in unique ways smile:D

Sorry you made asked for a challenge and I figure that this definatly qualifies as a challenge

okay if that one isnt to your likeing there is one Ive been meaning to tackle but never really had the inclination or time since I figure it will be quite difficult to acchieve

kind of hard to explain but here goes

take a source photo then take a rough cutout section --like it was broken off nothing to fancy or the filter will bog down here and not have enough gas left for the rest of the effect

take that section and raise it in 3d space away from the source photo and then give the illusion that it is moving towards you in 3d space

do this with several cut out sections 3-7 all of varying perceived depth

or modify it to make it look like the photo was originally a planet blasting apart in a similar method
though that would probably be to difficult

the effect can be done as is show by the default preset of fireworks by zephos but can it be done in larger sections with a photo stock

I've got one too actually. "Defined Color Blur". I want to be able to enter a color (or a color run into a noise grad color module with adjustable params for amount of spectrum to use, hint = scale in this case), and control the amount of blur, (horiz/vert), on just that color/color range as defined by the scale setting. For instance, a red car in a picture, I might want to add some horizontal blur to just the red (assuming there's no other red in the picture) to depict motion and speed. Or, in a scene with lots of grass/trees (and no other green colored objects) I might want some more vertical or half & half angled blur, to depict wind. I would do it myself, but I don't know color separation for crap, and would actually love to learn, (by dissection and helping out), with a filter like the one I've tried to describe. If someone wants to work on this filter, I could even try and help with it, to add range-limited controls etc. and "fine tweak" it, and they could of course submit the final version and take full credit for it's creation and use. Just adding an idea. smile:)

I would suggest checking this filter out.....study it.....learn how everything works on it.....experiment with it.....and create your own style of metal panel that puts this one to shame smile:) These are extremely useful.....especially to designers and gamers.....

Hope this helps smile:)

I don't know if this will seem very encouraging, but it can take months for a filter to get into high use. So it is possible that some of your filters will achieve high use.
