Thought I would post this to get some opinions about this. Unless someone came up with this already. This is a filter that basically frames a picture. Still needs some more work on it, heres a couple of
picts. Controls pict also to get the idea. http://www.fileden.com/files/109/circle.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/109/square.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/109/controls.jpg Scaleable square and circle. Have to figure out the outside circle thou. Also I need a bevel and other things before its complete but its a start. Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Nice start. For a smoother circle method look at this screenshot...

Thanks for that info. Trying to get the circle smoother was on the to do list. That method will do just the trick. I'll work it in there.

A few more suggestions.
-A 'rounded square' option. -For user controls that offer a choice between only two options a checkbox would be more intuitive then a slider. |

CFandM, the problem with creating frame filters in the current version of Filter Forge is that they won't work on non-square images -- try that and you'll see why.
We have some ideas about enabling Filter Forge to create frame filters, and hopefully they will make it into this beta. We discussed that in a another thread: http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...42&MID=999 |

rounded square option would be a interesting one to do. As far as the checkbox instead of sliders I would agree is better. Much clearer about what it does. Off or on.
That would be cool to have this feature. I did read that thread this is why I am even messing with this filter. Just curious to see if it can be done. ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
