Thank you so much! This is just what I needed. Saving $100 is going to be a big help in the long run. My trial's running out and I don't think I can live without FF. <3 $300 was really pushing my budget though.
One question though: if we purchase the standard version, will we be able to upgrade to professional if we meet the 3 high-usage-filter requirement? You'd think 90 days would have been more than enough time for me to play around and upload some great filters but it hasn't been, lol.

Beautiful move I can see a lot of people that might have been hesitant due to the pricejumping at this oprotunity now. And with wider adoption of this software it can only grow in leaps and bounds

Again congrats not only to its success but the caliber and quality of your product as well smile:D

Yes, that's exactly what your reward will be.

Hiya,

What version do I have considering I purchased it before this?

I would suspect I have pro considering my version can do normal, bump, etc maps.

Does that mean that the "standard" version can't do 3-D textures? Or, perhaps that I couldn't make 3-D textures? Is the free demo is the Professional version, not the Standard?

Aiee! I don't care about quad core support, weird file formats, or 32-bit files, but to be unable to make textures with height maps, etc.? smile:cry:

*pricks up ears* 90 days? Mine ran out at 30. Was that a special introductory offer or something? smile:?:

Depends on what you mean by "3-D textures" -- filters or maps. You can actually create surface filters -- pseudo 3-D textures with real-world lighting and surface properties. In the Pro edition, you would be able to generate normal, bump, diffuse and other maps for these filters. In the Standard edition, you cannot.

You can extend your trial, if you feel like it. Just submit a request via the contact form. The offer is available to everyone -- see http://www.filterforge.com/download/

Aaaaah, thank you! I'm not a 3-D modeler, so though I know what normal maps and bump maps are, I'm never quite sure how everything works together. But if I can make surface textures still, then I'm cool...at least for now. smile;)

Thanks! I think, however, that I'll probably just buy the Standard edition and get it over with. smile:D
