Really missed multiple installs and this goes out to the ff crew as a question Im content with one install I dont have a problem with that at all and considering my financialls right now its gonna have to wait a couple months till I can afford a second or third copy for now
for somereason ever since I became a dad I spend more time shopping for dora and sponge bob then i ever did before????
any how my question is in regards to virtuallizations i reallize if i had 2 compies of windows virtuallized that would still comprise 2 installs but since i bought a 16gb thumbdrive i can fit my parallels vm on my thumbdrive

I tried it tonight taking my osx copy and running it under linux at home and fired up without a hitch --let me refrase that I did have to relink some dirs and hardware but beyond that worked flawlessly -and i could really expect no less then to have to tweak it each time

so i built 2 shell scripts one to relink for osx and one for linux

since my vm is now on a thumbdrive how does the ff team view this install do you view it as 2 or 1 installs I would like to know because I have no intention of violating your licensce or trying to rob you of money that is W..E..L..L deserved
I cant say it enough how much i apprecieate and enjoy your software and as such I would like to know the status of my curent use of this vm
is it a per processor install or per os install license in your eyes
I dont care about the techical mumbo jumbo if legaly I can but you feel i shouldnt I wont smile:)
lets all whine for a wine port

It's really none of my business, but I've found that lately, companies that offer slightly more open ended license agreements tend to attract more loyal followings. The main things that I can name off the top of my head that go along with that are, 1) one license required per user, not per machine, or even per platform even in some cases, 2) allowing license transfers, (although lately I see $10-$20 fees even on under $100 apps, to discourage transfers a bit, and to help compensate for the added time & trouble). I am not in a situation that requires me to need more than one piece of software running on one machine at a time, but there will be many many people for whom that is a concern. Anyways, just my $0.02 input from what I've seen/heard these days.
