Filter Forge - Question about Upgrading to newest version

xxstyxx Posts: 3	Ok, i´m a bit confused. I got FilterForge 7 years ago and since does not work anymore (no connection to the server) i was thinking about to upgrade to the newest version. But the Pricing confuses me a bit. Upgrading from 7 costs 70$ (lifetime basic edition). Buying a new Basic permanent license costs 59$. Ok, what exactly is the difference? Is the "lifetime" about future upgrades?

GMM Moderator Filter Forge, Inc Posts: 3507	That's correct. The only upgrade option from version 7 is a lifetime upgrade that includes v15 and all future versions for a one-time fee. Alternatively, you can buy new licenses every time you feel that your version becomes obsolete.
