Carl sent me this link and I thought it was kinda neat. Open / left mouse / Next (Advance)....to turn the page....and find out about yourself smile:D

I think that there are some unique filter concepts that can be garnished from this.....tricking the eye into seeing motion etc.....

I still can't see a single dolphin smile:dgrin:

Steve -- thanks for posting, excellent collection. I saw some pieces earlier on StumbleUpon and in other places, but some of them are new to me.

And regarding the dolphins... smile:D

I thought I'd add another interesting visual deception of the brain - seeing is believing catagory - if you look at the two pic - left black circles - right white circles - simple............ Carl smile;)

My first thought was colorizing and shifting the tone of dots to give things like water the appearance of movement.....and the appearance of motion shifting, glistening, and shimmering effects to texture and pattern fills. Maybe very subtle layers could be created to acheive this as well.....

I also thought that modifying Uber's Truchet Tiling could work for this effect.....

LOL sorry I'didn't explain it, the circles are identical in both pictures only the B/G has changed - but our little brains interpret them as white in one and black in the other.............. Carl smile:)

Yeah, I actually can not distinguish the colors from being different.....therefore, I can only conclude that my brain is totally fried.....probably from too much Aboriginal Wackie Tobaccie in my earlier days..... smile:D LOL....
