In regards to the Animator app, after selecting a filter, can you start in frame 1 with no filter applied??? Example, animating a pic of someones face. Start with the face untouched (no filter) and then progress thru applying the filter to the face until the final frame. Let me know...thanks.

This depends on the filter you're animating. If your filter has a "neutral" setting that doesn't change the image – then yes, it is possible. You can install the free trial version and check it yourself before buying: https://www.filterforge.com/animator/download.html |

Thanks for the quick reply! I had already purchase Animator..so it's just a learning curve on my part. Earlier, I had also purchased the Filter Forge bundle (includes Filter Library Backup + Librarian). So...there a lot of filters now imported into Animator. So... is there an easy way to find those filters that have a "neutral" setting...or is it only by loading the filters one-at-a-time????

The recommended workflow is to inspect filters in Filter Forge and only load into Animator those that are fit for animation.
Yes, it requires you to take a more or less thorough look at filters. You can also create filters yourself - either from scratch or by modifying existing ones. |

Again, thanks for the quick reply. As per your recommendation, I disconnected the full filter library from Animator. And...let's start the learning curve for creating/modifying filters. Right now, the focus of "starting-as-neutral" is just project specific. So..let's see how to modify an existing filter so it can start as "neutral". And then...let's have fun with the "not-neutral" filters.
