Is Filter forge animator just a plug in that allows you to do the same animation that you can in Studio?

No, it is not the same, because as shown on the product page here that tells that the new animator will make KEYFRAME animations and FF Studio makes PROCEDURAL animations

Here in this other thread from FF 11 there is some explanation and difference between keyframe and procedural

In future releases, we will add keyframe animation, which will allow you to animate any existing filter without editing it. However, the keyframe animation will be limited to changing filter parameters over time -- you won't be able to do complex animations that are possible with procedural animation.

Also you can have more information in this other thread about this topic

*Is the program compatible with ALL filters, including future filters for FF14+?

*When you click "pre-order" the full price is displayed instead of the discounted price.

The program is compatible with all past and present filters. We can't promise compatibility with something that isn't available yet.

Are you browsing in the incognito mode? This is likely to cause all kinds of issues. If you can't use a different browser/browsing mode please use this direct order link: https://bit.ly/3L9NXxi

Thanks, and I still have some questions:

*Will it be possible to use rectangular images? and of what maximum size? will it be possible to import a sequence of images or even a video file as in FFStudio?

*Wasn't it possible to make a dedicated plugin for FFStudio or at least a Standalone app AND a Photoshop plugin?

You will be able to use any image that can be used in FF, up to 65000x65000 pixels in size.

Probably yes but most likely not in version 1.0.

This is under discussion, can't promise anything in the regard.
