interface is upside down...

I've already uninstalled and installed it again and it still happens, same thing happened when I installed the filter forge 13 beta version.

I'm having the same issue with the interface appearing upside down. I'm on MACOS and just upgraded to Sonoma 14.0. Don't know if this is the cause, but could be a coincident?

See if there is anything to do with a keyboard shortcut you have that rotates your screen view/ display/ desktop... a long time ago I recall Windows flipping for me and some other people and it was just due to inadvertently using a key combination that caused it.

Tried rotating the screen - just makes everything worse … not everything is just upside down, some parts are, some are not, words are backward, or upside down but not all .. impossible to use FF. Mouse pointer goes opposite way right-left, but also flipped top-bottom and all mixed up in every different part of the program, no consistency.

This is getting annoying. Filterforge, please fix this instead of mailing me every day if I want to buy something.

I can only assume it’s only happening on Macs, using Sonoma. mine still doesn’t work even with the new upgrade 14.1. I’ve been using FF for 13 years on a Mac and never had a problem. They won’t even respond. Have no idea if they’re fixing it or they’re doing. Extremely frustrating and disappointing…

Can someone please tell all frustrated Filter Forge users when the upside down problem and lack of presets is going to be fixed???

I can't believe this isn't fixed yet! I wonder what and if we will get some compensation for this support failure. This is utterly unacceptable!! AHHHHHHHHHHH! Get this fixed please

I can’t catch a break with getting decent software for textures and seamless creations. What a shame. This reminds me of the Genetica software, when support was discontinued for it. Such a brilliant program that I paid hundreds for (although still works today on my old Windows computer, very slowly). I only purchased Filter Forge because I got a Mac and Genetica was only for Windows, again I paid hundreds of dollars and only in the past year purchased a lifetime license because I loved FF so much. Same with Substance Designer - paid hundreds for it, then it got taken over by Adobe and the cost of subscription was too high as I am already paying top dollar each month for the Adobe suite - you have to pay much extra for Substance. So it looks like FF is only good for Windows now? So should I purchase an expensive Windows compter just to keep using it? (I’ve tried the less expensive ones and they are not good enough for digital art production). Feeling a bit downhearted …

The new version of Mac OS broke a lot of things.
IMHO Apple has a tendency to make changes that screw over their third party developers.

Adding my voice to this chorus. My workflow is SEVERELY disrupted by this. Long-time ff user, lifetime license, rely on ff nearly every day, use to create and/or modify content for my customers. Currently forced to use old 2016 Intel Mac with Ventura to run ff (slowly!!!) then airdropping the output to my main productive Mac. Very disruptive, costing me $$$£££€€€ every day.

The new build referenced in the comments above, does seem to work properly on my MacBook Pro Sonoma 14.1.1

Adjust screen orientation settings or seek help from software support for resolution.
