All this I am telling here below is only thinking and supossing that what you mean really IS that you paid 82€ for the upgrade from FF11 and you do not find value OR I am wrong?
Because if you did not upgrade and bought It new, I agree with Ramlyn and Rachel Duim comments

You say that you do not see the ADDED vale of FF 12 for 82 euros, so then I think that what you may mean and be confusing is that you have bought the UPGRADE from FF11 to FF12 for 82 euros? because you say added vale, so this should add vale yo what you may already you had before
And what you that there is only 80 effects or filters available made with and compatible with FF12
Well, you have to consider and be aware that FF12 is new since 4 months ago so there is not a lot filters yet but this does not mean that FF 12 is bad at all
You need to wait more time for more FF12 filters available
Also consider and be aware that most of the filters available are made free and with hard work and much time by FF users as the FF team only makes a very few of them as examples so It does not depend on the software team and we make It as a gift to other FF users
The main point and most important feature and useful in FF is the animation and so It depende if you need and want to have It or not , and then maybe instead of upgrading to Professional version you may ask how much is the upgrade to Studio version in your case
