Hi there I have tried to open up my recently installed Filter Forge 9 extension in Adobe Photoshop Cs6 (I am using Mac High Sierra 10.13.6) and I have had this issue when trying to open Filter Forge within photoshop:

"Could not complete the filter forge command because of a program error"

If there is anyone who has any helpful advice that would be really useful!

Looks like you need a newer version of Photoshop, see detail at the link

Ok, I somehow think that there may be another issue..

I own two versions on photoshop Cs6. With one I was able to install the Filter Forge 8 Extension. However on the other I would receive the same error (saying: “could not complete the filter forge command because of a program error”) regardless of which version of Filter Forge I attempted to install.

What is confusing me is why can I get the extension working on one machine and not the other?

Since CS6 is no longer supported, I don't think you would get any specific help from tech support to determine why it works on one machine and not the other

If on one of the versions of CS6 works and not on other, can you make the version that does not work the same as the one that works?

I have seen this Adobe help page for errors if it may help you in some possible way

Maybe this may explain why it works in one and not on the other as it may have something wrong in the configuration or startup, I do not know
