I purchased Pro version 8 on September 23, 2019 and it quit working 42 days later in Photoshop version 2020 and now I have to spend $54 to use the pro version in Photoshop 2020. I was mislead inasmuch as in all previous versions continued to work in the next versions of Photoshop. For me, this is the first time your product did not transition to the next version. Had I known version 8 would not work in the new Photoshop do you really think I would buy it for only 42 days of use? You knew that version 8 would fail and you never said that in your marketing. Your ethics deserve scrutiny. Owner since Version 4 in 2013.

Sorry that I do not know when it was, but some months before the Filter Forge 9 Release there was a news telling that if you buy Filter Forge 8, you will get a free upgrade to FF 9 version, so you could tell the contact support and ask if your you are allowed to get a free version of FF 9
Is true that as far as I know is the first time that there is no support for a newer photoshop version for previous versions of FF and only the latest version support the latest photoshop YOU CAN HAVE MULTIPLE PHOTOSHOP CC VERSIONS AND NOT ONLY THE LATEST ONE Maybe you do not know it but a possible alternative and option if you are still using FF 8, you CAN also download any older version of Photoshop with your subscription, it is allowed to have multiple Photoshop version installed in your computer, I have 3 different versions installed for compatibility with some plugins Install previous versions of Photoshop CC together with the latest one Be aware that is possible that proyects and works that are done in the latest version may not work in a previous versions |
