I would like to use FilterForge to create procedural content in unity at runtime (terrain, worlds, textures, art pictures). It would be very cool if there was a redistributable Runtime for iOS, Android, Windows and OSX.
The best would be if there was a redistributable runtime in C# |

Sorry, no hope for a redistributable runtime of any kind. However we consider adding support for Unity shaders, so in some future FF version you will be able to generate Unity-ready maps. No ETA and no promises though.

Using Filter Forge output maps is not very difficult to be used in Unity because Unity is able to import textures maps when making a material
Here is a possible way to do it Use Filter Forge with Unity Although I think that there are easier ways to do it and more simple. Also you can use Filter forge texture maps to create a Substance material and so it is directly compatible with Unity Also you can use alternatively the Bitmap2Material software Bitmap2Material 3 for Unity 5 |
