Filter Forge 8 Librarian Questions

I want to upgrade to 8 but was also considering the Librarian. I have a few questions for anyone who has some experience with it.

*Can you display and/or install filters created in 5,6, 7, etc in Librarian 8?
*Do I have to buy the backup? or can i manually download the filters for the library? *Will the library work without the backup?

Yes: Librarian 8 includes all filters that are present in teh online filter library, from version 1 to version 8.

Yes, if you need the backup if you want to use Librarian. On the other hand, if you have the ability to load filters from the website manually, you don't need any addons.

By library we usually mean this website section. You can download filters from here for free without the backup.

I have the ability to load manually from the website.. so I guess it is not necessary.. I thought maybe it may speed up searching for particular filters..ok thank you that answers my questions!; I may try to add this later when I can

I do not know where asking this question, but i do it here.

Where do I have to add my filters folder, because with v7 and v8, I losted every filters of mine.

I have saved my filters folder in my document, but i do not know where to put it, in what folder in FF8

Ghislaine, you should create a new thread in such cases, since your question is not related to Librarian. I will answer but please don't continue here.

You need to run Filter Forge, right-click the Custom Filters section, select Add Storage Folder and point to your filter folder on your computer.
