I am trying to get Filter Forge 8 to show up in the filter menu the past versions did.
I am using Windows 7 Pro and Photoshop CS 5 version 12.0 64-bit.
I tried in the preference to add the plug-in filter from Filter Forge 8 folder in C:\Program Files but that did not work.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Thank you
Jerry

Photoshop CS5 is not supported for FF8, here is the list. Don't know what to say, other than CS5 is a pretty old program. I have CS6 and it hasn't been supported for awhile. I don't know about you, but I am pretty disappointed with Adobe and their new pricing "scheme" (subscriptions only), so I am considering using other programs, experimenting with GIMP and might try out Paint Shop Pro or Affinity. From my years of using Filter Forge, I can say that generally Filter Forge works faster as a stand-alone program vs. a plugin, but your mileage may differ...

Bongo: instead of invoking the plugin, you should try copy-paste into the standalone version: it is a bit faster and way more stable.
