With every FilterForge, Library Backup and Librarian release I noticed the email notification thing is not working as it should:
• I do receive emails about new FilterForge (upgrade) releases with download links. • I do hardly or not at all receive emails about new Librarian upgrade releases: IF I receive a Librarian notification/download link it may be much,much later than the related FilterForge release. • I believe in total I only once received an update announcement for Librarian (not any for Library Backup). The usual way to get my hands on a Librarian update or upgrade is contacting support: from there they pretty much instantly supply me with a download link. I have no clue how often Librarian is updated leaving me usually to have Librarian updated only once between major releases. This applies in my case from version 4 and up (later with a lifetime upgrade subscription for both FilterForge and Librarian. I don't spend that much time on graphics anymore so it is really no big deal using the online library or incidentally contacting support but I remember in the more active days it was annoying always being left with basically an outdated Librarian. |

It's true new Library Backup and Librarian versions are not released on the same day as Filter Forge but they are released just a few days later. Last time Filter Forge 7 was released on November 15, and Library Backup and Librarian 7 on November 20.
A possible reason you're not getting emails about new Librarian releases is that we often hit spam blacklists after sending out license keys. So, you receive your license key but the next email from us falls into your spam folder. |
