Hello,

I tried to buy FF v6 last night, but the server was timing out.

I came back today and it's $20.00 more!

I have had v4 for awhile... and was finally in a place to get v6. But it is a no go for $20.00 more. smile:(

I recently saw FF was offered free on another website. If I had known that, I could have upgraded.

It just seems somehow unfair.... smile:?: smile:(

Hi, maybe I can help in some way, today I have opened the filter forge website in 3 different browsers, and surprisingly I have 3 DIFFERENT offers, at the same time and in the same moment, in one browser is put a 75% discount, then on the next browser there is a 80% discount, and in the next browser there is ONLY a discount for suscription only, and this is done all done in the same time, it only changes the browser

Also if you delete the cache of the browser, the special offer may change in that browser

So if you want to buy it use different browser to get the deal that you want, and in case this does not work, just wait a day or two, and the special deal that you wanted will be back

Seems they apply a dynamic pricing strategy. Same s*** you see going on on travel/hotel sites. smile:hammer:

SpaceRay is on the right track. You need to start a new browsing session started (the so called "porn mode": private session, incognito mode etc is very useful).

Here is a screenshot fr om a standard session in Chrome (I'm not even logged in) and an Incognity mode session (wh ere the FF site has no historic knowledge about me). Incognito session is the upper window. Here as a first time user I am presented with an awesome offer... The other window is my standard session. No 80 discount here as I am a returning user... more likely to spend dime.
