What is a user title?

Maybe someone should pass this along to whomever is in charge of this stuff, as it has caused a bit of confusion at another website where I made a thread about the previous 80% sale...
On the Filter Forge homepage, at the top, there is that banner with the images that move to the left, which explain Filter Forges virtues... the very first one (with the snowy trees) still says "80% off"... its not a big deal, but some people get pissed off about stuff like that and I figured it probably got overlooked because of the nature of that banner.
It's not a criticism, I just figured someone might want to know and I don't think its worth sending an email about.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but while I was out before I came here to check on the forums using my iPhone... On the Filter Forge home page (and the "Buy" page too) there are still "1 Day left 80% off" notices... I checked it on my computer and my iPad when I got home and the notice does not show up on those devices...
I went to Filter Forge via Google search and I don't have any FF cookies on this phone as today was the first time I visited it on that phone since I bought it.
In addition I just checked the site using my Mother-in-law's iPhone and the sale still shows there too.
Perhaps it is an iPhone quirk?

Weirdly, mine says 75% off on my iPhone 5s. Sounds like a caching issue on top of a missing update.  Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

Maybe the discount is higher the newer the phone is? I should charge my old iPhone 4 and see if it's a 50% discount... I wonder if it's like 4x more expensive with an old Blackberry?

Sometimes the discounts are browser dependent, at least on desktops and laptops.

I can confirm that the sale is not showing, I have tested it in 3 browsers and is the discount of 80% is not shown, now there is a discount on subscription
sometimes happens that the browser you are using has taken the page from the cache, and did not update it, so it may be showing the same page as before, and you have to use F5 to refresh the page, or reload the page, or clean the cache, or use another different browser that you have not used with FF

I can confirm IE 11 has 80% off FF on my Windows 10 machine and I can follow through with the purchase. Says 1 day left.

Maybe you have done it already, but
Have you tested it in another different browser where you have not visited FF before?
Or can you try to refresh the page and see if still is showing?

I just saw that the 80% off notice is back again... I see it only on my iPad, logged out and logged in. I do not see it on any other devices... All cookies were wiped the other day. I even removed the bookmark... still shows up as "one day left 80% off"... Just thought I'd let you guys know... it must be a iPad thing.  |

I agree with McGyver, I have seen that when I put Filter Forge website on my tablet now is also showing the 80% discount, but when I put the website on my computer is showing the subscription offer. And is not that I may have cookies or cache, as I have refreshed it
