Solved: Starting problems with FilterForgeBatchWrapperDist-0.9.7

Has anyone worked with FilterForgeBatchWrapperDist-0.9.7?
I can not even get it properly started for the first time.

The help.pdf says in the Quick Start part: "Double-click ffBatch.exe and watch what happens; you'll see renders inprogress in the newly created ff_output subfolder. Futz with the True/False settings in the automatically generated [yourComputerName].ini ..."

After starting ffBatch.exe windows are opening for a fraction of a second and after that they are closing; I can't read any text that is displayed in them. And this behavior goes on and on. I can't find the app ffBatch in the Task Manager so I could not stop it and had to restart Win.

After that I see that there is no newly created ff_output subfolder and no [yourComputerName].ini file.

I summary I have no clue what ffBatch.exe is doing, what went wrong, how to control it and how to stop it.


Can anyone help? Thank you!



Update: Solved: I had the FilterForgeBatchWrapperDist-0.9.7 folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Filter Forge 4\ therefore no output folder and .ini file could be generated. After putting it elsewhere, reducing the number of filters and source images to one for test purpose it seems to work.
