No, Gimp doesn't recognize the .8bf plugin file (I've tried). You have to export an image (and possibly a second image to use as a selection) from Gimp, import that image (and selection) in Filter Forge, save the rendered image, and import in Gimp. No shortcuts

I have had Serif Photo Plus in the past and get ads for newer versions pretty often -- has anyone had good results with pairing FF with it?
I wonder if it would work with PhotoFiltre Studio? That's the software I use a lot for working on images. I'm having a good time using FF as a standalone program, but I assume there must be benefits to using it in conjunction with another program. |
