This is my first post on here so hi everyone!

I'm working on a project that requires every frame of an animation to be put through filterforge a couple of times each with different layer blending etc to get the effect I want.

I've set up an action with my required settings and blending and playing the action seems to work through everything just fine for one frame.

What I need to do is load the image sequence into pshop run the action and then move to the next frame and repeat the action and so on. I have 360 frames so need to work out how to make the action repeat until the sequence is finished.

Does anyone have any ideas how I'd do this without duplicating the action 360 times so it runs in sequence?

Many thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forums!

I'm afraid I can't help with Photoshop actions, but have you tried Filter Forge built-in batch renderer? You might be able to batch-render 360 images in Filter Forge and then blend them in Photoshop.

Thanks, thats really helpful. I tried out the batch renderer and it looks like it works perfectly.

I'll do my blending in photoshop after I render the separate passes.

Thanks again smile:)

Glad you found it useful

The very good rhing would be that Filter Forge itself could have batch processing and rendering itself, but It has.been denied in the 4.0 and also seems that it will not be included in 5.0 either
