I currently have a lifetime license for Filter Forge Basic edition for Windows.
I want to switch from PC to Mac sometime later this year. I haven't decided whether to buy a 13" or a 15" MacBook Pro retina yet. I use Filter Forge Basic edition for photo collages and vacation pics, nothing beyond that. Would it be OK to run FF Basic on the mid-range 13" MBPr (2015)? I'm talking about this model: MF840LL/A 2.7GHz Processor 256 GB Storage 2.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz 8GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 memory 256GB PCIe-based flash storage1 Intel Iris Graphics 6100 |

![]() I use FF only for photo collages and vacation pics. Up to 4096x2160 resolution. Nothing beyond that. Could anyone tell me if Filter Forge Basic edition will work on a laptop with these specs? OSX Yosemite 2.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz) 8GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 of RAM 256GB SSD Intel Iris Graphics 6100 Thanks in advance! |

Can't talk about the license, talk to support for that, it's direct. Forums aren't for tech support so you won't get official responses here. And I'm not official.
![]() Yes it will work on a MacBook Pro. Basic edition and standard editions are limited to dual cores. If you have the basic edition the max resolution output is 3000x3000. The buy page has all this info: https://filterforge.com/buy/ cheers! |
