Hi everyone,

I've been learning "HOW" to import HDR images for the "environments" and while I'm currently importing an image (1000px X 1000px, which is one quarter the file size allowed) it is taking a LOOOOONNNNNGGG time.

Is this normal?

Yeup.

In general unless you're really trying to get reflections out of FilterForge's surface, it's highly recommended to use small HDRIs instead. Something like 250px by width is quite large enough for the effect.

If anything, if you really want to invest in high quality reflections out of FF you can export normals out and use that to drive reflections in compositing softwares like Nuke, Natron, etc etc which have workflows for that type of thing.

Thanks Skybase!

It worked in minutes instead of hours. Now, if only there were some way to REMOVE one of these images from the environments list.

Anybody?
