how do I remove the orange and white life ring from behind an alpha texture like Tatting for example? Thanks

Just create a new image and set the background color transparent (under file > new image)

I opened new image and found only "Fill color" as an option. There is no transparent option. When saved as a png using say a white I still do not get any transparency. The image saves to my desktop with the white background. Any ideas?

Have you tried clicking the 'Fill color' swatch and setting the alpha channel slider?

When I save to my computer as a tga it still has the white background. Any thoughts?

PNG is not an option for saving images on the standard version of Filter Forge.
