Ive been trying to submit since last night, but it keeps telling me the server is offline for maintenance. Just want to make sure its not some weird error.

same here. Trialing the plugin. I'm not sure now as there is no info on maintenance schedules on the page, and one post suggest waiting a few days if things don't work.
Being down so long and no information means the app is not supported very well which surprises me considering the cost.
Why would I want to invest so much when the basics are not meet ?
This certainly gives me pause about its longevity. I'm new to the app so not even sure if this is a common problem or a rarity. But the fact of no announcement bodes ill.

Yes, the server is down from Saturday.
Anyway there is nothing to worry. They are simply working on it.
It may be back fine even today.

biggles Im not so very new to it, and this is a rarity I can assure you. Thats why I decided to come here and ask, coz its not the norm at all.
And yeah, I figured it was just a hiccup. Just wanted to be sure it wasn't just me.

I'm surprised to say the least, that there aren't any mention on this site of how long they expect the maintenance to take. If they aren't sure, they should keep us posted at least. It's quite unprofessional to leave us the paid users hanging, without letting us know what to expect!! 
I was really excited about getting the plug-in and was going to recommend it to my friends. Now I'm not sure... |

After a lot of reseach and glowing reviews I purchased Filter Forge last night to add some textures to Keyshot renders. Filter Forge makes a lot of noise about the size of their online library and for someone who doesn't want to immediately learn how to use the filter editor it seemed perfect. For the library to be unavailable with no acknowledgement of why and for how long does seem a bit unprofessional. I'm sure that everyone is busy trying to get things fixed, but not letting your customer base know what is going on is frustrating. Please sort it out Filter Forge

If the filter was professionally run there would be at least one person assigned to watching the forums during the down time.
Obviously not maintenance, server crash or they are having a weekend away and totally unaware anything has gone wrong.
Obviously this app has a single point of failure. One person gets sick or breaks his leg, god forbid dies .. and the project is all over. Is a pity, the app did get my juices going and so glad I am still in trial period.
For the cost I would expect a redundant system to take over.
