I'm trying to create a filter similar to Photoshop's "Emboss". I need a way to take a numerical value from a slider control and output the inverse value. In other words, if the offset-X value for one Offset component is set to 0.02, the offset-X value of another Offset component -- through some kind of component-chain trickery I haven't figured out yet -- automatically becomes -0.02. Does that make sense? And if so, is it doable?
Bonus points for Angle Control compatibility. Thanks! |

It may work with the angle control by using the rotate component and using the rotate on that for control....

It is simply a controller remapping situation: Use negative value(s) for the other input.

Oh, boy. I left email notification unchecked, and presumed that no one replied. So, yeah, thanks for your replies, and sorry for taking so long to follow up.
Remappers, huh? All this time, I had no idea that those little numbers lozenges were customizable. Derp. CFandM, thanks for the filters. I'll take a look this evening. |
