Not that I have anything to complain about, but howcome the 'popular filters' order have just changed overnight?

It seems like if they have a ranking/rating chart they use to determine it, and they collect the user data every what, 2 weeks ? That it should get updated at least every 2 weeks then, if not just on a set time basis, since they might not get user data from everyone on the same day every 2 weeks. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing it in "real time", like every time they collect user data from anyone, if that changes the top 20 or whatever, then rotate the new one in. It's no big deal either way, cept it seems rather abrupt when 1/2 of them change overnight after being just about the same for a month eh.

Because we now have the first few 'High Usage Rank' filters, I guess... ![]() And those apparently override even Average Usage Rank filters that have way higher download counts. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Exactly.
Yes, the 'Popular' tab is sorted by the Usage Rank first, download count second. |

The download counts are updated once a day, and the usage rank once a week. It hasn't updated before because there was simply not enough 'votes' to calculate the usage rank. |

So the download counts are a total right? But does that go for the usage as well?
If filter A is used 100 times in the first week, 2 times in the second week and filter B is used 60 times in the first week, 30 times in the second... then which ranks higher after two weeks? |

I guess I just figured it was an automatic system, and it was set for one month updates or something. I don't care that much either way, although it sorta matters, til I hit 3.
