what does 'HDRI' stand for? this is in the user side in a menu, reading 'HDRI import'

High Dymanic Range Images. Filter Forge uses spherical HDRI images for lighting instead of old-style point lights you can see in other plugins. It allows us to reproduce real-world lighting conditions of the place where the HDRIs were shot or "captured". Also, they produce amazingly realistic reflections you simply cannot achieve with point lights.

ah, ok. so this has to do with the little sphere you move around for lighting changes.
