The Freepacks can be used stand-alone, correct? So no other editing software is required in order to install them? Seems when I installed them over a year ago to try out FF before buying it, the Freepacks installation wizard looked for an editing software to install within. I have a friend that wants to try them out but does not have an editing program at this time. She just wants to try them stand-alone.

It's been a while since I tried the Freepacks but I think they include a stand alone as well. FF always checks to see if you have editing software to link the plugin part of it to.

Thanks for responding, Tepearley. My friend went ahead and attempted the installation. At first, she thought it didn't work because no desktop icons appeared. They were listed in the "start" menu though (win7) so I told her how to put shortcuts on the desktop and everything's good.
