Hi, new to filter forge but have used it for quite a number of images for a client. I need (really need!) this one filter but it is crashing photoshop even though I have used it before. Any suggestions as to why this would happen?
I know we are not supposed to complain about slow render times but this one filter does take often about an hour or longer to render if it works at all or just makes my hard drive spin, I then close everything out, restart and still the same. What am I doing wrong?
An error report came up several times to be sent back to ff but have not had a response yet.
I would appreciate any help greatly! I have nearly 30 more images to get ready and at least an hour render time or so + the crashing.... yikes! there is not enough hours left for me! Help? thanks much, C

What filter are you using and how big are the images that you are trying to render? I don't know enough about the inner workings of FF to troubleshoot such a problem, but anyone who does will need to know.

If it is Photoshop that crashes, why are you posting here and not on Adobe forums?
Does Filter Forge work in the standalone mode for you?

Thank you for your responses.
I didn't want to name the filter and discourage others from using it, I'm sure it works great for others or it wouldn't be popular.
I posted here about photoshop crashing because I thought it was related as I have never had it happen before using ff.
I will try your suggestion but will have to figure out my work flow differently I guess.
Thanks again for responding!

If you named the filter you wouldn't be discouraging people from using it - on the contrary. But since you were once able to use the filter and suddenly not, something must have changed on your system. Have you tried resetting your Photoshop preferences? Sometimes that helps when Photoshop starts acting strangely.
