Hi,
I have been looking for a particular filter that is being used in this photograph. I couldn't find so far. Can any one help me identifying which filter is being used on this Photograph to give that 'matte' kind of effect. ![]() Thanks in Advance |

This one looks quite close to the one I'm looking for but not exactly the same. Much appreciated your effort to direct me towards this filter.
Thanks |

Well I blurred out the dots on the lightness layer of the image you posted to test it and created a simple filter. See if this does what you want. Top image is 'dot-less'.

Thanks Burt for the filter.
I have found another solution for these kind of images. This effect can be created using 'Transparent' patterns in the Photoshop. Transparent patterns can be downloaded from the internet. |

Lots of ways to do this that's for sure. This filter could be easily modified to take an image instead of the pattern it generates. Anyway glad you found a solution.
