Hello, I think that I remember that in some thread GMM have put some good and useful suggestion and recommendations about how to configure the settings of Filter Forge (FF) (Menu Tools --> Options), well I have been trying to find this thread and I could not find it
So I ask again about this topic that I think is important What are the best recommended settings configuration for Filter Forge? Somebody could know where was this information in the forum? I have found only this: What is important and priority for FF render speed ? NOT HARDWARE ! HOW MUCH important is the Page File size AND where should be located? |

Define "best settings".
Please note all Filter Forge options are documented in the help. |

Well, I mean with this to be able to know what settings and options would give you the best and faster perfomance, with more stability and less troublesome I mean that are these ones here on this thread below the only recommendations available for a faster perfomance or there are any others? Ways to Reduce Your Render Times I remember that there was some other recomendations about some settings that would make FF a little more faster than having other settings options (Sorry that I do not remember which ones apart from the ones on the thread above here) Also apart from this, having some settings recommendations, for avoiding the Bad Allocation bug as this needs some specific settings recommendations, This is the main thread for discussing the 'bad allocation' exception |

I mean... isn't this relative?

Yes, I know that this is relative, and may not work for everyone, and also depends maybe if you are using MacOS or Windows, but as said these are recommendations or suggestions, and you are free to follow them or not. I mean that you can try them and if it works for you then you can keep those settings and if not you can choose any other settings that work better for you. |
