I have seen that in the new Filter Manager there are two folders for custom creating folders and organize your filters BUT it seems that they are very different in how they work.
If you are going to organize your filter library list downloaded from the filter library you CAN´T use the custom filter folders because in this way you will be creating COPIES of the filters and make them loose all the author information and make the loose all the usage rank and rewards to the author. ORGANIZING YOUR FILTER LIBRARY LIST MUST BE DONE ONLY IN THE FAVOURITES FOLDER To keep the author name and keep giving the author the usage rank and be working as it has been before, you must organize the filters making all your own custom folders inside the favorites part and not inside the "custom filters" part CUSTOM FILTERS FOLDERS These are custom filters folders to be able to organize all the filters that you have created or modified, so here you can make folders and subfolder for the filters that are not directly from the filter library If you put a filter in these folders it will be made a COPY of the original filter instead of a shortcut FAVOURITES FOLDERS These are the custom filters folder to keep and organize the downloaded filters from the filter library and/or from the DVD with the filter library. If you put a filter in this one it is made a SHORTCUT to the original filter that is stored in the main Filter Library list |

I wonder why is not put in the information page about the new filter manager a more explained and better detailed the difference between using the custom filters folders or the favorites folders
I mean that this text below is put at the end of the first part of the long text after the first image
As it is mixed with all the other text, and at the end I think that this could be missed easily, is not clearly marked.
Then after long before, after 2 images and more text in the middle is this other text (shown here above) about the custom folders usage, that also is mixed with other amount of text and is not also clearly marked, so this can be missed also easily. SUGGESTION TO PUT THIS FILTER MANAGER PAGE LIKE FF HELP PAGES I want to suggest to put this as it is done already very well in the FF help pages, like for example in Settings Tab or also Occlusion Settings Dialog I mean to put the title of the description of what is below clearly, as I have put in the first post, and in the same way as in the FF Help pages, AND put them both together and not so separate. Of course that this is my own point of view, and as I see it how it is put now, I find it confusing and not clear. |

I have found another difference that I have seen now is that:
Custom Filters use external storage and will ask you where you want to have the new folder created Favorites will not ask where you want to create the folder, it is done on the default FF 4.0 location |
