Installing Additional Filters

I am a complete beginner with Filter Forge.

I have just purchased 4 (basic)

Also downloaded addition free filter packs 2 > 6

I ran 2 and it installed as a separate 'item'.

How do I get the free packs to install into Filter Forge when I run their install Setup exec.

I think that you can´t use the "free filter packs" inside filter forge, because they do not have the same file format for installing them INSIDE filter forge, they are made to be outside of filter forge, if you want to have the SAME filters as the ones fr om the free filter packs you have to search them inside the filter library and download them from there.

Filter Forge Basic gives you access to all the filters in the library, included those in the freepacks.

This means you can remove the freeepacks altogether, find these filters in the library and use them from within your Filter Forge 4 Basic.

Thank you both SpaceRay & GMM for you prompt and informative answers.

Having to download separately from the library is probably even better than having to install the whole of the Freepacks, that way I can pick and chose what I want or need.

I assume that library downloads do not install but are used on an 'as needed' basis.
