How many people own FilterForge?
Maybe how many registered users are there ? would be a better way to put it |

Ok a rough bet: between 100,000 and 500,000 users.
#amirite?  Or is there more?
My bets are based on Facebook page, activity, forums, and download counts on various websites that host it. hehe |

Wow Skybase, that's a lot of users.
I was hoping that the FF company owners and marketers would have that figure somewhere as sales hype or info. Kinda like McDonalds Over 5 Billion served. Or in this case something like 201357 FF users and counting. I Checked the ff Wiki and googled the heck out of it. and came up with nothing |

I'm just thinking somebody's gonna come by and say, "Actually, it's 80,000."
haha.
I think we can actually derive at a safe number based on the number of downloads of the filters. Maybe estimate based on registered forum users. I donno, so many stat things we can do. |

Well, the most popular filter apparently has ~21,000 downloads. I haven't been recording the numbers, but I believe FF is getting more popular (the rate of new users is increasing).

All versions of FF have been downloaded over a million times in total. Of course the number of downloads is not the number of users... but it is a number you can base your assumption on.
