Hello, I have been reading again the FF Command Line Renderer help guide and I have found the following nearly at the end inside Rendering Options
Does this mean that if is put to false value it will be overrinding any antialias setting that the selected preset could have stored, and the antialias will not be applied? And if this value is put to true it will use any of the antialias setting stored in the preset? Because if it is this way, this could be a very good thing to override any of the antialias settings stored in the presets, because as far as I know, there is no possible option inside FF setting to not use all the stored settings inside any filter preset. HOW CAN YOU CAN YOU CHANGE THE ANTIALIAS SETTING WHEN USING FF COMMAND LINE RENDERER? Inside FF software before rendering the filter result you can go to the menu Filter--> Anti-Aliasing --> Choose any of the options And then this way you can test different antialias samples settings to see wich one is best BUT what happens if you want to change the antialias settings when using the FF Command Line Renderer? How do you change this setting? I have searched for any "Antialias" XML command or setting and there is no information about this. Only appears <AntiAliasBitmapComponentSources value="true" /> <AntiAliasBitmapComponentSources value="false" /> But there is no numeric value for this to tell in XML about to use 17 samples or 49 samples AND if they are applied to "Edges Only" or to "All pixels" Please, can you be so kind to tell how this antialias can be modified the settings using the FF Command Line Renderer? Thanks |

SpaceRay, this parameter is an equivalent of the "Anti-alias sources for bitmap-based components" settings in the Rendering Options dialog. It doesn't affect anything else.

OH! I understand now and see what this is for, and it has no relation with the settings inside menu Filter --> Antialiasing . Sorry I thought that the false value would like the "off" setting and true and that was any of the other values. ![]() |

MODIFY THE ANTIALIAS WITH FF COMMAND LINE RENDERER
And I have thought a way to be able to configure in an easy way the number of samples of Antialias setting using the FF Command Line Renderer I know that you can store many settings inside the FF filter preset as you can see in this thread here, and the Antialias setting is one of them inside the preset, so when using FF with your chosen filter, you can choose the level of antialiasing you want to have and then click on "upd ate preset" or make a new preset for this value, so when using the FF Command Line Renderer it will render and use it with that antialias se tting you have choosen. |
