I installed FF2 and FF3 yesterday and then used FF2 for several hours with some of my old customized filters. This morning I opened FF3 and used it for an hour, before closing it and trying to open FF2, but FF2 will not open. It gives me a very non-descriptive "File Corrupted" box with a red 'X' and no other information.

I used to have FF2, FF3, and FF4b all installed side by side before reinstalling windows last weekend, and never got any message like this. Do I need to simply reinstall FF2 now, or is this going to be an ongoing issue? I need to have multiple versions side by side and not sure why it's a problem after reinstalling Win7 Pro SP1.

As far as I know there is no problem using different versions of FF in the same computer (at least in the windows side) as I have also FF2 (that I never use anymore), FF3, and FF4b and have not had any problem with them.

Well, I think that perhaps it may be a problem of just FF2, so reinstalling FF2 could perhaps repair and fix the corrupted or missing file or files

Sorry, just for curiousity, I wonder why do you want to have FF2 installed and still use it?

I mean that if you already have the FF3 from my point of view I do not see, from my point of view, any reason why I would go back to use FF2

As said this is just curiosity and you may have your own valid reasons to do it and I respect it
