There has been recently a small flood of threads made by Darvinda that shows filters from the library that have not had any comments yet and they appear to be in the forum, BUT they are totally empty
Why would you make lots of empty threads of filters without any comment?
And it appears about 5 or 7 threads in the same moment, so is also strange.
This has been happening since about 3 days ago.
I do not see the point of this and the reason to do it
This thread can be of course deleted when this mistery has been solved

Probably some spam bot that iterates all filter threads and thereby trigger the auto create mechanism (which is pretty unconventional after all..).
First Comments on Filters post should be disregarded by the Recent Forum Posts and active discussion functionality...

If I remember correctly, the empty thread is created when a logged in user clicks a link "Leave a comment" on the filter page -- leaving a comment is not necessary. This is a known artifact of our forum-based filter comment system, and it's harmless. The empty filter comment threads are regularly deleted by our cleanup robot.

Yeah but if this user was human, than he/she should know by now, that clicking on the comment link creates a blank comment if there are (0) comments. This is not the first time that this user flooded the forum with posts, lol. I mean, everyone probably accidentially created a comment thread when they were new to the forum, but you don´t make the same mistake 50 or 60 times, lol.
It´s just a bit annoying, because the real posts get lost, until the cleaning bot removes the empty posts.
Edit: Rare chance, but maybe that user is really not aware of creating those posts, someone could maybe contact him/her about it.

I remember doing this a few years ago, because I was trying to view comments. I figured it out after the first time I did that, but maybe this person is looking for comments.

I think that this CAN´T be a real person and I agree with you that this must be some kind of bot with auto creation.
What is curious is WHAT is the point and purpose of making this?

Yes, it happened to me the first time that I did not know, BUT it happened just ONCE and have not been making the same mistake 60 times as it happens now , so this is why I think is not human.

Perhaps a good way to avoid this could be to make that leaving a comment on an empty thread should be required for it to be published and would not be allowed to appear in the forum if it is empty.
Although is harmless, and as you say the cleanup robot works very well (there was 38 posts this morning and now at night there was only 10) I agree with Sharandra that is a bit annoying and breaks the "recent posts list"

And when the cleanup robot cleans the mess of empty threads, Darvinda adds many more

The cleanup robot has just deleted all the empty posts and have just seen that Darvinda comes back again to flood again the forum with even more empty posts.
Can´t it be cancelled the account? Because the only thing that makes is this, and I do not think it is a real person

Well Darvinda did leave 2 comments on filters, so maybe it´s really just someone not aware of the spam he/she causes by opening all those threads. Probably like Andrew B. said, someone looking for comments.
