I have just found on my hard drive LOTS of files that puts "Filter Forge Bitmap Cache" and all are different with numbers and different sizes.

In all this time I have not found and seen this files, and now I wonder:

What is the Filter Forge Bitmap Cache?

How is used the Filter Forge Bitmap Cache?

Can you delete safely the Filter Forge Bitmap Cache files?

I have taken a screenshot of a small amount of the files I have found to show them here

NOTE:

I have made a backup of this post in case something bad happens again

These are temporary files of Filter Forge's virtual memory system. It uses a custom swap system instead of the OS swap file. You can safely delete them, just make sure that FF isn't running at the moment.

Thanks Vladimir, this is what I have thought that it was just a temporary cache files, like the ones from other softwares, but wanted to confirm it.

Now I can safely delete them smile:)
