Hello,

2 weeks ago i started to modify and create my own presets but from filters already created.

I don't know how to put only my presets in my own FF category (personnals created filters ,,,,even if it's just presets, i never created any filter from my own, just tweak and use them for my prints projects.

And what about the original owner and creator of the filter ,,, If i use them , (but only with my presets) for commercial works.

I have a Lifetime Pro Edition of FF.

Could you help me please ?

Thanks a lot !!

Best Regards. smile;) smile;) smile;)

The custom presets are saved with the filter. If you want you can right click a filter and add it to your favorites, that way it will be easier for you to find it again later, and use it with your presets.

It's OK to use filters in commercial work, even if they were created by other users.

Well, If I understand well, you want to have filters that you have downloaded from the Filter online Library without the factory presets that come by default and only have your own created presets?

Well the factory presets CAN´T be deleted if this is a filter downloaded from the library, and your own presets will be added after these ones.

Only filters that you have created yourself can have ONLY your own presets.

DisTrash, if you want them in your My Filters folder then you just need to edit the filter and save it. Afterwards you can also delete the factory presets.

YES, this is a possible way, BUT this way you go against the author of the filter in that it looses all the rights and the usage rank, and FF can´t measure anymore it´s usage, and also when editing it looses also the update power as you will not be able to update it because it then does not belong anymore to the FF Library.
