Been looking at this site Build Your Box and got to an option of 6GB, 12Gb and 24GB RAM will having 24GB really have that much difference?

It depends ENTIRELY on what you're doing.
Working with massive Photoshop files? More Ram = Better. (Also faster Hard Drive too, consider a SSD for max performance) PS is kind of a beast like that though, it needs EVERYTHING, well, maybe not so much on the Graphics Card side, but Processor Speed and multiple cores, Tons-o-Ram, and a really fast Hard Drive. Filter Forge? Processors, lot of them, and fast too. |
