ok... i imported a photo that has a transparent background. i want to apply a filter effect to only the photo and NOT the background. however, when i apply the filter it also applies it to the transparent area... any suggestions??

Open Photoshop or a compatible host, select the photo without the background and start Filter Forge as a plugin. The effect will be applied to the selection only.
